Hi guys,

So I left my stepfather overnight with 3 halfbeaks. when i came back there were only 2. I discovered after long searching a mostly-eaten body. Just a bit of chest area left and a part of a tail. This girl was always a bit on the shyer side. I do have another female who's a tiran trying to bite anything that comes in her way. The male loves to hang just below her, i don't know y..

im at loss? i've had them for a couple of months, she was eating fine till the day i left yesterday. She looked fine too.. my other female has 2 whitish spots on her tail and a whitish line, so i'll watch them for a while to see if it's ick, but to be honest i thinkkk they were there for a long while.. and under light it's barely there.

my water parameters are 0, 0, 5, all other fish look fine. any ideas? this is a mystery to me

I should probably add that during my last water change i found 2 diffrerent live organisms:

1) a small darkish worm (i never fed live food; i do vacuum gravel every week; and i do have live plants)
2) tiiinny free-swimming greyish balls, maybe the size of a small sugar grain. i couldn't possibly distinguish what is actually looks like, i don't have a magnifying glass.

oh, and my other fish in this tank (20 gal) are: now 2 halfbeaks, 1 ram, 1 gourami, 4 danios, 3 corys, 1 pitbull pleco, 1 nerite snail
