Hi All,

Is the use of Easylife Easycarbo as good as using CO2 injection?

Thanks
Squidward

I don't think you could say whether it was better or not, it depends what you're trying to achieve and what tank and plants you have.

I'd say its more suited to smaller and/or low tech tanks or for killing algae in any tank really.

My tank is low tech - 240L
The plants are struggling, so I guess would benifit from some CO2?

Not necessarily, it's a big tank to be dosing easycarbo... but co2 can be expensive and cause even more problems...So I wouldn't recommend co2 to fix problems either.

How are the plants struggling? Pics will be best if possible? Do you dose any nutrients or anything else?

I have been using Esha Pro-Phyll, but it doesn't seem to have made much difference.

Did some research and it seemed to me that the limiting factor is CO2.

That may be, but it'd be helpful to see a pic, that would help to see what plants you have, what plant mass, the state of your plants i.e. if there are obvious deficiencies, the amount of fish etc...

Not sure pro-phyll consists of?
