Hi Guys

AE are forever out of Flourish Excel, so I have decided to try some of the Easylife Easy Carbo on Richard's recommendation.

I understand that in terms of C02 it is much the same, but do people know if it has the same anti algae effect?

yes it does, and its cheaper

yes, both are made up from the base foundation of gluteraldehyde

Excellent.

The dosing on this seems a lot more conservative than Excel. 2.5ml a day for my 125litre tank.

What are you guys dosing?

i'm dosing 5ml per day for my 100 litre but once this bottle is gone i wont be buying anymore, i just bought it to cover for my co2 system whilst it was in the post. I was recommended by Green Machine to dose 10ml per day per 100L, they do this along side pressurized systems.

Hmm, I did think the 1ml per 50litres was very very conservative. But not having used it before I was a little apprehensive
