Easycarbo Giving Me Bba! Huh!

Hi

I been using easycarbo at 2ml a day in my rio 125 with 2ml tropica N+ a day and now I have black beard algae! whats causing this? I dont use co2 at all just easycarbo like they some on practical fish keeping.

Will the plants pick up in a few weeks? or do I need to up the dose!

My photo period is 10 hours as I was told to up it from 8 as my plants were looking bad im running 2 x 24 watt t5 plant pros.

BBA is a sign of low/ fluctuating CO2. You have medium lighting so you need to inject CO2 in some way. The easycarbo will help, try upping the dosage and see if that works first. Also 2ml on that size tank isnt much, try 5ml.
