is there an easy to care for plant that will grow large?

Java fern can grow massive if allowed to. Pruning is important to carry out though to encourage new growth.

i hate vallis(well i actually really like it but never grows like i see in other tanks). so think we'll try java fern..

do you have soft water by any chance? vallis differs from other plants, in that it can use carbonates from the water column to act as co2, so in suitations with soft and a low ph water, it doesnt do aswell.
