Ive decided that im finnaly gonna think about giveing live plants a shot! But the problame is I really dont know alot about them. Can anyone tell me about any plants that even a 10 year old could keep up? Im also wondering about fish that should NOT be kept in a planted tank such as silver dollar (thats preety mutch the only one I know). The fish themselves are still my interest so I dont want any plants im gonna really have to keep up and look into alot. My only purpose with the real plants is to make the tank look better and be healthier for the fish.

Suuure. That's how all the planted forum regulars started out. Look at them now --- obsessing over the latest "popular" plants, coolest diffusers, expensive substrates, and never-ending-aquascaping their masterpieces

Indeed I am!

Yeh post a bit more info and we might be able to help further :)

My water is currently at 6.6 pH and is kept at a constant 80 F. It has a flouresant bulb in it and also a non flouresant

Relatively easy to keep plants include Amazon sword, vallis, cabomba, crypto`s, hornwort, java fern, anubias. Where are you from? If you're in the UK a good and cheap way of starting is to get one of the plant collection from greenline as that'll give you plenty of relatively easy plants and it wont cost you the earth :)
