I have a 10 gallon tank with 18 watt lighting and I just wanna know... What are some easy plants to put in the tank? The tank has 1 betta and 4 moneywort plants and will eventually be housing 3 platys.

I moved your topic, as it was in the journal section of this forum.

To answer you question. 18W over 10g isn't much light, but you'll be able to grow some of the hardies of the plant world. Mosses, anubias, cryptocoryne species, Egeria species, java fern, possibly an aponogeton species or two, and some other hardy stemplants. Growth will be slower, but managable for someone new to aquarium plants.

Check out the link on my signature "Easy Plants". These plant would do pretty well in the circumstances you're talking about.

Ambulia, Elodia, Hygrophilla polysperma & ruba, Java Moss & Java Fern, Narrow Vallis.

You can add some liquid iron fertiliser to help the plants do better. I use Sera Florena.
