I have a lovely marble molly which for past 2 days has been getting weaker and weaker. Is clearly dying. Should I just wait for the event or should I get it out of the tank and flush it off. Do you think they suffer?
Secondly should I have more than one of a species or is it recommended to have at least 2? While I have 4 neons, a pair of guppies, 4 black mollies (survivors of my first breed) I have only one sword.
(All water tests currently negative)
Appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Don't flush it alive its a cruel death.
If the think the fish is suffering this is what I do.
Get a jug of very cold water. Add ice cubes till the water freezing cold. If no ice cubes put the jug of water
in the freezer till you can see a thin sheet of ice on top.
Place the fish in the freezing water, it shouldn't take long for the fish to pass away.
Leave the fish awhile in the water just to make sure its passed on. Make sure gills are not moving.

Thanks Wilder - since posting, it died. Appreciate your advice and will act accordingly if occasion arises. Thanks
