Dying guppies - The outcome

After all the fish died apart from the indistructable sucking loaches we do have a positive out come, We traced back to where the problem came from, A large pet store called "Pets at Home" I sent them and email explaining what had happened, It wasnt nasty, I just explained in detail what had happened, I wanst expecting a reply but I got one. They said they would restock the tank FOC. I was pretty shocked but pleased with the outcome

im not being rude when i say this but just offering my opinin so pls dont take offence. i would ask pets at home for the money back so u can get fish from another shop cuz pets at home is an awful place to buy fish (my local one is anyway) all the fish from there seem to come with a list of probs. it might be worth you trying another place for re-stocking.

I would agree there, Ive only ever been there once, Never again, I really doubt they would refund for about 25 fish when we only bought 2. If I had the money I would certainly restock from another supplier.

hope it all goes ok mate. it might just be worth getting fish elsewhere and putting the pets at home thing down to exoerience!

Well, The final outcome, Pets at home started to restock our tank, The first 6 fish were fine, Then we went back and got another 6, After a few days they started to die, I got back in touch with pets at home, In the end they refunded us for all the fish we had lost, Now got a few guppies again, 4 USD cat fish, A khuli loach, 2 sucking loach and a spotted talking catfish

that was good then. id try and avoid pets at home in future

maybe just ask for a credit and buy food or other non living things there, and buy stock elsewhere...
