I found some dyed fish in my local shop yesterday. :( They were x-ray tetras with a fluorescent stripe down their backs and under their bellies, in pink, orange green and yellow. There were purple ones also. Theres no way they could pretend they were natural. Needless to say I shall never buy fish there again. This company has signed up to the 'Dyed fish campaign' and is advertised in PFK.

I would send them an email then or write a complaint out to the shop manager, stating that they have signed up to the dye fish compaign, poor fish, there is no need to dye them fish are beautiful naturally, who wan't to see gordy looking unnatural looking fish anyway, it amazes me that poeple actually buy them.

I'd definitely write to/ask the shop manager or even a member of staff. To be fair, I've read about unwanted dyed fish being sent to shops that never ordered them, either by accident or unscrupulous suppliers, so this might be the case here, especially if the shop has signed up to the PFK campaign.

If not then tell them where to stick it.

Cheers,
Luke.

Yeah, I would talk to them first. It may just have been a misunderstanding. They may not have realised they were ordering dyed fish or maybe they don't even know they are dyed (though, like you said, it's kind of obvious if you're someone who's familiar with the fish).
