Dwarfs For My New Tank.

I was thinking what Dwarfs to put in my tank, I kinda like the idea of Rams, could I put anything else in their? It's just under 20 Gals, so not the greatest amount of room. Ideally I'd like another pair ( not to aggresive ). There will be plenty of plants,rocks and caves with a sand substrate.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.

These fish get territorial and need their space.

Thanks DD, I've read your artical ( after posting ) is there any other Dwarfs that will allow me 2 pairs?

If not I'll go with a pair of Rams, Corys and a few Tetras.

Unfortunatly, there isn't.

Rams, Cories and Tetras, will always be a favorite community mix of mine

People have been known to cram two pairs in these tanks with some species that don't fight so hard over their territory. Cichlids are very adaptable and if we force them into a corner they'll deal with it, but isn't it much nicer to give them a more natural amount of space and keep less fish in better conditions?
