Dwarf Puffers

I am no expert, but I BELIEVE you are only suppose to have one per tank unless it is heavily planted. Ask in the puffer section.(In brackish)

I have three in a heavily planted 15g tank with a bristlenose plec.

All very happy and easy to look after.

your right it is 1 per 3 gallons so in theory you could have 5 but id go with 3 in such a small tank I have a 20gallon and am only gonna get 3, you need lots of plants and hiding places, they like a jungle, and only tankmates are oto's and shrimps and armoured plecs.

I agree with the recommendation of 3 in a 15 gallon tank. They're GREAT little critters, good luck & I hope you enjoy them!

What type of puffer, is it? pygmy puffer? green spotted puffer?
I have amazon puffers who are the most friendly puffers that live strictly in freshwater. These aren't 'dwarf' puffers, but only grow to 3-4''
