Has anyone elsee every noticed this? I'm pretty sure the dark spots on my puffer lighten and darken. Am I just seeing things?

 Errrrr... - I've never seen your puffer :/

.....seriously though - not sure about puffers but many/most fish change colour/shade depending on how they're feeling.... ;)

I especially notice deeper colours in my rainbows in the morning and sometimes the clown loaches black can get quite grey -_-

:)

Puffers have a wide range of color changes depending on mood and time of day. My dwarfs look washed out in the morning when they are waking up, and color up throughout the day. They get darker when stressed or angry, they also can get paler when stressed or afraid. I have even seen them looking more gold than green some days.   ...Mood fish...
