right, basically I have four platys, one was one of the original ones I bought and he's at an estimate about 2.5 inches long and about 1.5 inches high, quite stocky aswell - maybe he's not giant but he's quite a big fish, my friend whos kept fish said 'thats the biggest platy ive seen' - no big deal asuch because maybe its just eaten more i dunno -
but i was wondering, can you get a dwarf fish? from the big one and another platy i had which died 2 of their fry have survied, ones now a fully grown platy - normal size and another platy exactly the same age, maybe a few days younger is tiny, its around 1inch long and has been for ages, its never gotten any bigger and it constantly stays by the side of its its brother/sister, just mirrors it ever where it goes - im sure the brother/sister tries to swim away but its constaly got the little platy as a shadow - is it possible to get fish that dont grow? i'll try to get photos but I was trying last night and there all blury - thats even following the 'good pictures thread' - maybe i need to sort my camera settings out
