My dwarf guorami has been spending a lot of time laying on the floor, and she has also been trying to swim but will keep tipping to her side.

It is not looking good for her, we have only had her in the QT since Saturday, and it is only yesterday I have noticed this behaviour from her.

This morning she was so still and leaning on a plant, I seriously thought she had died, but she then started swimming again but seemed to be having problems going in a straight line or keeping upright.

That was this morning and I have been at work ever since, I am dreading what I may find when i go home.

poor fish
it could be a problem with swim bladder but not sure
someone here will be able to give you good advice but it would be good to have your water stats to hand as they will most probs need this to help you
regards scoti :good:

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed your fish.
Is she bloated.
Once they fall onto there sides and have trouble maintaining there balance the fish are in bad shape.
If you can issolate I would try a bacterial med.
