ive not seen my coral blue gourmai eat ive only got my flake food atm and no money to buy anything else until next thursday

my danios seem to munch everything and the corys eat whats left on the bottom

stocking -

3 danios
2 corys
1 gourmai

How long have you had him? It can take a while for a fish to settle in and realise exactly where the food is coming from, Gouramis should be fine with flake food.

only this saturday gone

im still at the very end of my cycle too and i know i probally shouldnt have added him but im really bad at impulse buying

and the woman in the shop did say he would be lonley on his own but i only had enough for 1 gourmai and 1 cory so my other had a friend

all is going well and i think my tank should be pretty much finished cycling by saturday so i might add another

Any levels of ammonia or nitrIte in the tank will stress him out and cause him not to eat, can you give us your water stats.

nitrite 0.25

this was a hour ago on my lunch break and i did a 15 % WC before i went back to work and will get it too 0 tonight

Ok, yeah another change to get that nitrIte down would be good, I would suggest also to hold off on feeding or at least feed minimally whilst the tank is still in cycle.

yeah ive only been giving them minimum flake like not even a pinch and from what i can see the danios eat everything
