Dwarf Gouramis Pair

could i keep a male and female pair in a planted 10 gallon with shrimp??? or do i need a male to female ratio

i find that honey gouramis are better with my shrimp , the dwarves will eat adult my cherry shrimps as well as baby shrimps where the honeys occasionally only eat the shrimplets , so if you want to have shrimp aswell i would definately go for the honeys , you could have the red robin honeys or the yellow ones

the dwarves would be ok as a trio in there as long as the tank is long not high with having 2 females any aggression will be spread out more
