ive only had it 2 months but i bought it off e bay and i took half of the water from the bloke i got it from can i treat him with any think else? nitrate levels are 10 i have 3 guppys a sucking loach and a clown loach(i know he will get big so getting a bigger tank very soon)

Test your tanks water first of all. What are the parameters? If you were using an anti-internal bacteria med it likely will have caused a re-cycle which can make matters worse.

Do you have a 2-4 gallon bucket? Fill it up with de-chlorinated water and use it as a quarantine tank. You'll need to find a way of covering it (still allowing air in ut so the fish can't jump out) and heating the water to around 76 deg F. You need to do daily water changes. Then get yourself an antibiotic med. or switch to another anti-INTERNAL bacteria med. and try again. Do this asap or the fish will not survive.

As soon as you can, get yourself a bare 5 gallon quarantine tank w/ sponge filter and heater.

BTW, a med. I have used for treating internal bacterial infections with great success is actual the interpet anti INTERNAL bacteria med. so you are on the right track but maybe you've chosen the wrong medication. That is assuming you haven't bought the internal bacteria med. (you just said bacteria). If you did actualy choose the right med., just try a different brand of antibiotics/anti-internal bacteria meds - yeah, I;ve already said that :p

Just read your otehr posts and you should know that the 'sucking loach' also gets huge - at 10" - and is also extremely aggressive (once they get to around 4"). Get rid of it (re-home it/return it to an LFS) asap. It will grow much faster than the clown loach (which by the way should be in groups of 3 minnimum in at least a 90 gallon).

Also, taking water from a tank doesn't help at all. The good bacteria you need in a cycled tank are in your gravel and in the filter media.

my sucking loach is fine at 12cm 5inchs he doesnt bother any 1 and a 90 gallon for a clown loach! thats a 2 and a half meters long tank!

Just because it is fine now doesn't mean it will be fine in the future. I really would listen to the people on here, they do know what they are talking about. And as for the clown loach, they are not kidding when they say they need a 90G tank. This is because to make sure they are happy you need at least 3. I really would take their advice if I were you.

will 3 clown loaches be ok in a 48"by15"by 12" soz i dont know how many gallons it will take?

Sounds abit small to me don't you no how many gallons it is.
