Allright I've given up on my rainbow sharks. I've got one in a 29 and one in a 55. The one in the 29 is tearing up the sides of a gold and a blue gourami that are in there. I tried adding more ornaments...didn't help...tried adding more plants...didn't help...so now I'm getting rid of the rainbow sharks... I'll be adding 4 more danios to the 29 as well as 2 more khuli loaches... so it'll be pretty well stocked when I'm done.
The problem is my 55 gallon. The shark in there get's his butt handed to him by my male dwarf gourami but I'm gonna be adding 2 female dwarfs that I have in quarantine atm. The shark in the 55 is smaller than the one in the 29 so I'm thinking when he gets a bit bigger my dwarf won't be able to handle him anymore. So I'm gonna get rid of him before he becomes a problem. My question is what can I add to the 55. The 10 inch common pleco will be gone tommorrow. He's going back to my sister. I'll be adding 2 female dwarfs as well as three rubbernose plecos. so my stocking list will be 3 dwarf gourami's 3 rubbernose plecos and 5 white cloud mountain minnows. that's somewhere around 26 inches of fish. I was wondering what else I should add. I would like some dwarf cichlids but I'm afraid they'll be too aggressive. I'm just not sure what to do. These supposedly placid rainbow sharks have made me nervous about buying fish so I'd like some personal opinions.
