Hi everyone, I just noticed my dwarf gourami has what appears to be swim bladder. He is laying on his side at the bottom  and seems to be struggling to swim. What can I do or buy to help him?

Help ASAP, thanks

Think there is nothing you can do if it's already laying at the bottom. Sorry !!!!
Dwarfs do very often have a virus (Iridovirus) that causes Dwarf Gourami Disease after some time with several problems.
The neon and cobalt ones coming from asia are 95% infected. It's untreatable.
It's a shame for this beautifull fish but they can't be kept for a long time in most cases.
If you buy a new one, try to get some from a home-breeder in your neighbourhood !!!
99% in the LFS are imported from Asia (Singapore)

As a last ditch effort, you can try the pea method. I watched a lady on Youtube treat a goldfish for swim bladder (her name is TSCatLady) and she treated with salt and peas. However, I don't know much about Discuss except they are sensitive so I wouldnt advise salt unless someone with experience and expertise comes along and says its ok. For the peas, try adding some garlic guard to entice him to eat it. It worked for my betta suffering once who I thought was a goner for good, but hes alive and happy now! Good luck, I hope he makes it :(
