Hello again.
I currently have a 10 gallon tank with two platies and two balloon mollies. There are also four fry in the tank, that I will move when they are ready :) (they are in a safety net, don't worry!
I am currently looking to add one or two more fish into my tank. My original plan was to add 2-3 fancy guppies, and perhaps breed. I think fancy guppies are such a good way to add color to a tank. However, I have recently become intrigued by dwarf gouramis. I would probably only be able to add one or two to my tank, but I keep reading they are community fish so I'm not too worried. I AM terrified that these fish will get my other fish sick, as they are prone to illness. But they're just so beautiful, and they're such a different fish for my tank!

What does the community think I should do? What do the mods think? I'm new to the fish keeping hobby so any advice would be great! Thanks!

Your tank is too small for gourami unless you get something really tiny like sparkling gourami. I wouldn't recommend them as a beginner fish though because their requirements tend to be quite specific. If you want dwarf gourami or honey gourami, I would suggest having them in nothing smaller than a 30 gallon tank.

So I checked guppies.
