I lost two Dwarf Gourami's recently due to Dwarf Gourami disease. I'm no expert but it sounds similar to the problems I had.

I've lost three males in the last two months to the disease. It's sneaky and deadly, and I don't think there's a way they can recover. Best idea I have is to put it in an isolation tank and hope for the best.
