hi, my hc is growing ok, but i was wondering if maybe the hc would like sand, instead of my kind of large gravel.

Sand or a smaller gravel are both better choices for ground cover/foreground type plants than larger gravel.

I recently put sand under my HC and it looks alot better already.

sand is better or finer gravel as the roots can get a better grip.
