Dumb Fish

well i got a little cat fish and a little black mystery snail to help with the alge and jaspers tank, jasper however did not apprichiate the new additions and tried to eat both. the cat fish i evacuated to raynes tank, she never had trouble with her first one so i figured she would be ok with the second one. when i came home from work jasper had a nice scar on his head and the snail was tucked up in his shell. so i moved the snail to the guppys tank and treated jasper for the scar. it is clear now jasper does not want to share his tank. so i will have to think of something else to get rid of the brown alge.
i am using melafix to repair the wound, is there something else i should i use?

Just make sure you keep the water nice and clean Watch for any infection, if any start appearing, myxacin may help but i'd just use melafix and clean water for starters
