This might belong better in the plants section, so i'm sorry if it needs to be moved....
A trip to a local pond got me intrested in Duckweed. i was wondering if these plants, though found in a pond, could be transfered to my aquarium? i would like to place them in with my african cichlids, i've heard from a friend that cichlids like to eat these little plants. has anybody heard anything about duckweeds and africans? any advice on how to grow them or how to sterilize them? thanks
