I seem to full of questions the past few days . . .

I would like to add a DSB or a Plenum to my already established 75 gallon with the thought that either would help me with my phosphate issues. I have read a lot on both and they both seem very beneficial. A few questions. . .

a. If anyone has any beneficial advise on either it would be very helpful.

b. Would it be best to add this to the display. I understand this involves taking everything out and then siphoning out the existing sand. Or would a remote area in my sump be better? I do understand that the sump would have lower surface area. Is this an important factor.

c I have maybe a 1/2 inch area of sand in my display currenlty. Unfortunately the wrasse I currently have seems to fuss with it and the sand ends up on everything. Specifically the corners where the flow is limited. How would I prefent these deposits with either the DSB or the plennum. Which would be more beneficial in this aspect. (I also have flow issues here, but I am concentrating on one thing at a time)

Thank you all for the help

Remote DSB in a 5gal bucket ran off your sump. Easiest/best way to do it :)
