Dry Ferts Solution

Quick question; When making a solution with dry ferts and trace mix do you declorinate the water? Is it ok to use just bottled water or distilled or plain tap without declor?

you should use distilled or de-ionized water, you will find it at halford's for £3 for 5 litres, its usually used for toping of car batteries

I use tap water!!! It already has some N and P in it so I don't worry too much.

Think about this one. lol

How much dechlor are you going to add to a 500ml amount of tap water? Is it worth if for the sake of the ?ml you are going to put into your tank daily?

Unless you are running a very strict tight range lean dosing regime then there is no worry. If it is EI then you are dosing to excess anyway so it doesn't matter that the tap water contains extra of what you are putting into your solutions.
