is there anything else that i can do if i cant use the med?

I have had 2 fish with dropsy and i am afraid both of them did in fact die, theres not really much you can do.Meds wont cure dropsy ( as i have found out the hard way!!) so the kindest thing you could do for her is to put her out of her misery.

Heres a link on dropsy maybe this will help to avoid the problem again.

I'm Sorry that this has happened and i hope everything works out :(

Basically, dropsy is not an illness in itself, it is caused by organ failure, a sign that things have gone pretty far. Sometimes, bloating (which looks like dropsy) can be caused by constipation and then remedied by peas, but if it is real genuine fullscale dropsy (which can be the final stage in most illnesses), then there is usually little you can do.
