insoired by the beach rock thread, is beach drifwood ok for a freashwater tank?

i assume it needs to be treated in some way??

boil, soak, boil, soak, boil soak... if it's been drifting in salt water for years possibly decades, then that salt is gonna be deep inside the wood. but repeated boilings should remove it.
