Drift wood

I was just wondering if anyone sees a problem with using the driftwood they sell for reptiles and using it for the aquarium. Sometimes I see a real nice Piece of wood at petco and say that would look real nice in my aquarium. I know it would need to be boiled and soaked.

Ask the store employees if they know what the wood was treated with. I've come across reptile items that were supposed to be ok for aquariums. Check out the label and see if you can find a company name and give them a call.

Most of the stuff for reptiles is alright, but some of them are treated.
