Hi all,
While my mopani wood takes its time soaking in water till the tannins arnt leaching badly, im going to buy a nice piec eof drift wood that has a tree look to it.
Sort of like a stump with lots of branches on it :) Going to buy it tomorrow im hoping, so im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how this would best be made to look like a tree type thing, going to make it the centrepiece of the tank (not of hte fish ofcourse :D)

Oh and also, i currently have a bunch of Giant Ambulia, and Contortionist Valls. With 1WPG or so (till i can think of a way to get a second bulb onto the hood lol). They seem to be turning a bit yellow and look to be dying... :( So im going to buy some plant fertiliser, the only one ive found near my place is called "API Leaf Zone", from memory it said it adds Iron and Potassium. Wondering if this is the thing im after?

Regards,
Indir

Thank you aaron, iwll have a look at that now. LFS wouldnt sell me the piece :( so ill have to keep looking around

Ive bought some ferts, bottle said NPK which i rememberd someone saying something about it lol. The bottle are called:
Flourish phosphorus, Flourish potassium, and Flourish Nitrogen.
Are these the things i need?

Going to add the recommended doses in an hour or so

there the ones, you aalso need trace elements too though (seachem flourish trace elements). It would of been better to buy the regular flourish like i reccomended above as it contains everything you need - cheaper too!
Buying individual bottles is a good idea to target feed though - for example you can add the quantities of each individualy nutrient.

Havnt got massive LFS near me so options arnt very vast. Could not find what you suggested so had to find alternatives. There was trace elements bottle too but didtn know i needd that one :D

Well till these bottles run out ill be using them then :) will just have to grab that trace elemnts bottle too.

Hey while im here, any ideas on how i could pull out the single tube fitting i have now and make a double one for more WPG? :p
Its late and im watching NBA so ideas arnt to good right now :D

There is Aqua Essentials, not sure on postage costs though.
Rather than pull it out you could add an extra tube. Attach some tube clips into the hood if you have space then simply clip a tube in, and attach a starter unit.

Hmm maybe ill have to find that tube clip a space in the hood :D
atm have 1WPG, which seems to be low according to everyone. So im after another 20w or so :)

Thanks alot for the help. Off to bed (P.S GO THE L.A LAKERS!!! YAY)
