Fish Fanatic
Hi all, I am really hoping for some of your expertise. I bought a few fish last saturday, and noticed within a short while that my silver shark had whitespot so I treated and then used the second (last dose) of treatment yesterday. I have come home today and noticed that one of my guppys had a few spots, after examining my tank, it looks like 80% of my fish have whitespot
.
My tank details are
Nitrites 0
Ammonia 0
Nitrates 10
PH 7.4
180 litre tank (Juwel vision 180)
Water changes - either 30% weekly or if I have missed a change then it will be a 50% catchup change.
Occupents:
1 Albino shark
2 Silver sharks - new purchase on saturday
8 male guppies (the smaller versions)
6 chocolate gouramies (4 of which were bought saturday)
3 neons
4 cardinals
5 pencil fish (new purchase on saturday)
1 common plec
2 small clown loaches (new purchase on saturday)
Decor
11 live potted plants
1 castle
2 pieces of aged bog wood
(have had all of the above decor for a while)
Chemicals: Anti Whitespot Plus by Interpet
Do I re-treat the tank, if so when can I add medication? I would really appreciate any help/advice you can offer. I love my fish and can't stand the thought of loosing them!
