Iv heared of dosing 2x amount flourish exel to treat algae problems. But do i continue my regular dosing while doing this?

i had a tank completly covered in algae and i mean completly covered in algae only one and a half weeks ago, i just gave it a normal dose per 50L and it went away, also identify the algea with this link

Much better to standard dose with Excel/Easycarbo. Can take longer but no risk to fish and some plants can be affected by double dosing.

In answer to your oringinal question yes carry on dosing normally,

some go up to 3x daily (upping slowly over the course of a few days) but other stick to the guideline as it is safe, although it takes longer.
