Dosing Tpn+

I think it does yes, Ammonium isn't as toxic as ammonia however, but there will still be both present, your PH will influence the ratio on either side of the equilibrium.

So its ok to leave the tank as it is then ? Safe for the fish ? I dosed the tank an hour before i tested should have tested before really :/

I'd leave it, the plants will utilise the ammonium, it shouldn't pose a problem anyway, just make sure that it is indeed the fertiliser giving you a reading and nothing else, a lot have used TPN+ with success.

Will do, i will test tomorrow before i dose again then an hour after and compare.

Cheers SS

Not meaning to hijack but thoughti would jump on this thread as im looking to get tpn+ and flourish excel tommorow.

My tank is only 14L so how am i suposed to dose as it will be tiny amounts especially if i dose daily instead of weekly?

Thanks for any advice, matt

On a 14 Litre tank I'd dose about 0.75Ml daily if it is a high tech set up, use a syringe or graduated pipette.

Thanks SS just need to find a tidy syringe then, would you consider 9w over that tank hi tech?

Once carbon additions are added to a planted tank, you are now entering the high tec side. I agree with the thought that light doesn't mean high tec, its a soon as carbon enters the equation.

Where can i order tpn+ online cheeply? None of my lfs stock it  thanks for your help

I got it from here buddy, http://www.aquaessen...0ml-p-1038.html
