well i went around today and found a cheapter fertilizer that i could use for my tank, it contains nitrates and phosphates.... it is a bad move to use it right ? i have quite a substancial amount of nitrate already :(

btw do i still follow the dosing instruction with the bottle ? ... i heard before that with very heavily planted tanks i have to dose more ??? im not sure :(

Is it labelled as an aquarium fertilser? Most quality ferts don't contain phosphates/nitrates.

As for dosing - follow the instructions, if you experience nutrient deficiencies then more may be necessary although this is unlikely if you already have high nitrates.

yup it is actually a aquarium plant fertilizer :) it surprised me because it had nitrate trace elements ... dang... i forgot the name.. its made in canada... distributed by hagen hahaha containts phsophates, iron, manganese, sulfur ... and i forgot the brand hahah o well :) i think its best to go with the flora pride and florenette ferts.. :)

wat cha think ?
