Dosing Ferts

I got a bottle of ferts and was wondering if I should turn the filter off when I put it in? It says to add 10mls per 100 litres. Also, do I just add each week after a water change? Thanks!

Dilute it in either dechlorinated replacement water or else some tank water. I have a one quart measuring cup I use for this purpose. You waht to keep the filter on to help circulate the ferts. Any time one adds chemicals of any sort, even salt, it should be diluted before putting it into a tank.

Thanks for that TwoTank, I just put it straight in but I'll dilute it in future.
