dont you just hate when or lookin around a FS and you see this nice fish.u get excited about this fish and that is all you think about while u r looking around.

so now u r done lookin around and u go back to that fish get ready to ask for it and you look at the price tag...the fish costs more than u make a week. .like the zebra plec or suttin...at a LFS they r like 50 bucks.
take the white spot pleco also for example...at a petsmart near me thay r like $70.00


i dont really know why i created this.probbly just to hate on all the fish stores selling top dollar.

$50 US is cheap for a Zebra pleco! Are you sure they have the real Zebra pleco (L46)??? There are several species of false Zebra plecos.

well they arent even medium sized yet, maybe... half inches? compared to the pictures they look pretty perfect. but kind of undeveluped. i dont know how they are so cheap... that lfs is amazing somtimes.

Yeah like with the angels I'll be getting soon I looked at the price tag and it was something like $4 and $5 for a small one then the medium ones are something between $6 and $7 way to expensive that means like I'll have to save alot more money in order to get them after I get my female bettas from Styx.

too expensive...........try cardinal tetras for 3 bucks each and you need 7+ of em.............

In aussie dollars - cardinals are going for up to $6.95 each in my area. But I have also seen neons for $1 each.

Discus are bloody expensive - up to $AU 250 a fish, depending on size.

angels are fairly cheap too, maybe 2.99 for a largeish one (4 inches somthing like that)

Ive bought all my angels when they were young 1" for about £2.50, her are pictures of them now at about 4-5".....at this size you buy them at £15.

You folks need to look into local aquatics clubs. Dollar body size angels go for around $3, smaller dime to nickel body size a buck or less.

hmm...i just bought an electric blue jack dempsey for 40 bucks, and a green terror for 18 bucks. Cost of fish normally doesnt stop me from buying them, i just wait till i can get them.
