People tap on the side of your tank! Grrr!

Some people say "Oh, its not everyone who does that, its just kids!", and then they say "Oh, you can't blame kids!".

But they are wrong, it isn't just kids who do it, it is adults too! And anyway, the kids do it after you tell them not to!

Grrr....makes me so angry!

Haha, try having drunk uni students at your house with a fish tank.

Not only do they enjoy tapping on the glass and going 'look at the pretty fishie!' but they also feel that the poor fish are suffering and need some vodka for a pick-me-up.

I really need a proper hood to keep 'em out! Sadly, plastic canvas must work for now. ..now if I could only convince them that they wouldn't like someone banging on their window while they were being all peaceful, maybe they'd stop banging on the tank!

Yea its quite annoying when people who know nothing about the hobby mess around with your tank, when we spend so much time trying to keep it perfect

Oh I know EXACTLY what you mean! I absolutely cannot stand people tapping on tanks - be it my own or at an LFS. I ALWAYS have to say something. I just find it so annoying...

my girlfriend does it to my tank all the time!
she also does it to her tanks and i tel her not to but she says the fish don't mind

well i don,t care what her fish like or not, i hate it when she does it to my tank!

I only let guests (usually my younger cousins) in my room (where the fish are) with my supervision Luckily the adults that come to our house know not to touch our fish stuff

When I was at pets at home the other week, there was this dad and his kid. The kid was going 'Can I tap on the glass? Can I tap on the glass???'. Obviously the dad let him..... poor fish.

If you put fingers on the glass of my tank the crabs come to investigate and try to pince your finger through the glass or try climbing up

I think it's more bugging when people sit there & say "Oooooh look the little fishie is following my finger" When the poor mite is really scared half to death & trying to get away from this finger/fingers running around on the glass or even in the tank.... i'm just waiting for someone to put their finger in with my Red-Bellied Piranhas and watch them chase it! lololol

Damm ppl who know nothin bout fish. Poor little dudes. It must be like listening to Fifty Cent. Torture.

I have a two yr old neighbour who loves my fish, and i always have to clean the glass of nose prints...lol. Atleast he knows not to touch with his fingers!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. My puffers are always so scared when theres people like that. Grrrr.

NBow my puffers do follow my finger...but I don't put it on the glass...the follow it...I know this because once it stop they try to eat it.
