Sunday I noticed something on all of the rummy noses. At first i thought it was Ich, but I am not sure. I've seen Ich before on my Betta and it didn't look like this. That plus all of the pictures I have seen of Ich show the cysts being irregular shaped. These are perfectly round. My wife says they look like tiny bubbles on the fish. But if they are bubbles why just the rummy noses? I've also read that Ich does not have a raised appearance, which this defintely does. Two of the fish also had the whatever they are disappear completely yesterday. Does Ich leave some sort of visible wound when the cyst bursts? These two fish show no physical blemishes. Also, the rummy noses are still acting as they always have, swimming around, noses are still nice and red, I have yet to see them scraping against anything. It also doesn't seem like velvet from what I've read about that. From my understanding velvet looks more like a dusting instead of a sprinkling.
Anyway, anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Karl
