Dont Do Fish Chores At Night!

What an a$$ ole that was. decided to rearange a few tanks by adding the rest of my new rocks, and changing my filters around according to the size of tanks and amount of fish. WELL, the latest external filter that I have had running by connecting the out pipe to the in pipe, decided that once I connected it up to my cube tank, was going to cause me problems, it p155ed out everywere, could not stop it, took it to bits, back together again, still p155ed out. 2 or 3 times i dismantled it and in the end i soaked the seal in some boiled water and it now seems to work,( 2 hours later). really thought I was going to lose the bacteria in the filter and even worse if I didn't sort it tonight I would deffiniatly have lost some fish. need to listen to some of tanks music and let my stress levels come back to earth.

Just in from the pub now. Just thought I would give the old fish forum a check before I headed off to bed. Thats a S"£T one man, you must be gald you got it sorted, sounds like the kind of thing that you could loose sleep over. You worried that you are going to have more weird dreams about you pillow and it being full of sea life.

hello bud. I would say lucky bugger but I dont drink. alls well now and I agree, i would lose sleep and no doubt still will, hopefully not over marine creatures. saying that I have set up a 2ft tank with some live rock, hermit crabs and a few strange creatures, i know what they are but cant spell them, so wont bother. all my other fish are settled and I hope it remains that way.
