Yesterday I bought 4 mollies (2 black and 2 silver). The silver ones are both female and are doing fine. However, I have one male black molly and one female and I'm worried that he's upsetting the black female. He only pays attention to her and he keeps driving her into the back of the tank by the filter and she gets scared to come out as he nips her back in her place! Should I get another black female to balance things up a bit, then maybe my current female wouldn't be so threatened?

I you have room for more then maybe that would be the easiest solution... Some animals have color preferences... It may be that he's just trying to get his job done and then will move on to the next open gal.

`I got a sailfin like that, he hates my 2 fem dalmations, but loves the big female orange molly, chases the dalmations all over the tank, luckily they have a large planted tank to hide in :hyper:
