hey I have 3 dojo loaches and just spotted 2 of them with bumps on thier sides and slightly red underside. Does anyone have any idea what this might be. I have a 55g tank that has been set up for about a 3weeks now. I set up the tank by moved the filter over so i wouldn't have to cycle the tank all stats seems to be fine the temp is the only thing that has gone up a little it's about 76f working on bringing it down back to about 72f. also the loaches are about 2 weeks old.

Red belly and underside is septicemia, and the lump are probably bacterial as well.
Are they solid looking lumps, or soft like filled with fluid.
Water stats would be good.

My water stats are all fine. I do like a 10 precent water change every other 2 to 3 days. One seems a little out of it and the other is acting normal. I've removed them to a large bowl and have been giving them frequent water changes. Don't want them to pass something to the other fishes. Will they pull thourgh, as my son is fond off them and looks for them every morning.

Whats your location.
To be honest no its not looking good, septicemia hard to cure once it has progressed as it blood poisoning.
Yes septicemia can spread as the bacteria from the fish can enter the fish tank, bet to issolate the sick fish.

I have moved them both and am sorry to hear that there's really nothing that I can do for them. Not sure what to do with them. they're not doing anything, they only move when i do a water change.

You need a bacterial med but it could already be to late.
Don't know your location so hard to say which one.
