Dojo Loach Damaged

So i was cleaning my 30gallon tank and my Dojo Loach was hiding under the rocks and the Cleaner wand hit him and now he looks a little bent and isn't swimming so well any ideas if i can fix this??


And after the water change the filter hasn't been running as hard as it normaly does i tried turning it up but it just stays on low power!

You may have damaged his swim bladder which would effect his ability to swim, which may or may not right itself. If there is permanent damage to the swim bladder then there isnt much you can do for it, but hope he is able to cope well enough to swim/eat. However he may just be a little shocked and will recover.

The filter may be clogged hence why it isnt working as well, have you cleaned the media recently? If not try cleaning it in some TANK water, just take it out and swish it around a little to get rid of the debris clogging it. Also take apart the filter itself and check the impellor is running properly, if its not, then again, wash it out in some tank water and put it all back together again and it should be working better.

ok the filter is running again but the loach is just kind of sitting in a corner....

poor guy i dont think he will make it he is realy white and it looks like part of him fell off ((

If you think he's in a bad way and not going to make it, might be kinder to end his misery.
is his back still bent.
