Does This Happen To Java

ive noticed that after using Co2 for 14 days all my java have started to do this at the end of the leaves, i know its a root system and some of them have small individual javas growing from the end of the leaves.
ive never come across this before, is this normal?

Quick question..... and totally off topic... but what is that moss you have growing in the background? I have a teeny bit of the same, and have been trying to find out what it is, as I don't know where it came from...

yea that's awesome dude, your providing a good environment for your plants to propogate within the next couple weeks that will make it's own little clone and usually just seperate itself and float around the tank , at that point you can fix it to somthing else
