USA,
I was wondering if the size of the eggs or the fry will be effected by the size of the parents.

Like for ex. even though I doubt that it would happe, say that the emporor cichlid layed eggs at one ich, they would be small, but if they laid them at the mximum full size of 30 plus inches, would they still be as tiny?

Or would a molly that is one inch still produce the same sized fry as a 6 inch molly female? Though I dont think that the females get to be that big.

Good question.... Not sure. I'd imagine they would be the smae size, after all, a 6ft woman has the same size babies as a 4ft woman.... At least I think.

True to some degree in humans you need to take into account the birth size and adult size of both parents and then due to the randomness of genetics you could end up with something unexpected anyways. Also an immature (read not fully adult) or small human female will have birth difficulties with a "normal" sized baby. In the fish world I dont have a clue sorry, but I would guess that an immature but sexually ready live bearer female would have less fry but capable of obtaining full size growth otherwise a lessening of the species would occur. I guess an egg layer would just have less eggs. Just my 2 cents

well I know my fry always had smaller fry then her mother.

Usually the difference between smaller and larger fish is the number of fry. Bigger fish have more fry- smaller have less...

Yep, size of the brood is where you see it... typically

Yeah, I think the difference is brood size mostly... my Mini betta didn't lay nearly as many eggs as normal females usually do
