I've still got one wide tall one to come for the back and then that's it. What background is best the blue or black do you think?

It looks much better now; I like the black backing more than the blue.

It's one of the prettiest tanks I've seen; very girly :)

awww thank you. The pic doesn't show the colours very well. It looks dull in the pic but in reality it's a nice bright piink. I know it's tacky but I like my pinks and bright coours and crystals. It's in my room and my room is black white and silver with pink accents like cushions and crystals so it sort of matches in. It looks more crowded in the tank now but I expect the fish like lots of plants to hide in.

Do you think I need to remove everythhing when I do the gravel? At the moment I take it all out and do underneath everything then put it all back. Do I need to do that every time?

I don't bother doing under every thing every time. I'll pick one piece up one time and another the next. I suppose each piece gets moved and cleaned under once a month or so in most of my tanks.

You'll probably find that with the way your tank is set up, and the the way filter works, that one or two pieces seem to accumulate more dirt than others. Then you can do those places more often.

The longer you have your tank, the more you get used to its own little peculiarities (they all have them)

Yes that's right I did find that over in the corner by that cave thing had a lot of poo but the other side of the tank is usually quite clean. Thanks it was a hassle taking it all out and putting it all back.
