Hey, been a while since i've been on here.
I had 2 large orandas, they were bought from p@h both fine for the first 2 months, then a few days ago 1 of them became unwell and had swimming bladder, i tried treating her but she died yesterday unfortunately. I've done a big water change of about 50L out of the 125l and the other fish, is absolutely fine. Active, happy, etc. I understand this fish will need another friend, am I right?
It's fine on its own at the moment, but does seem a bit lonely. Would i be able to buy a small goldfish to live with it instead of a large one like itself?
I should be getting this other fish on thursday.
Please get back to me, thankyou.

Hello, there is no reason why you couldn't add another fish but i would be inclined to stay away from the goldfish and get another fancy. To prevent possible swimbladder issues you could feed your fancies some fine chopped de-shelled garden peas once a week.

Keith.
