Does Melafix Harm Plants?

Don't know tbh but from what I've heard it's a herbal treatment (?) so wouldn't have thought so.

that was my thought as well but i wanted to be sure as this is my first attempt at a planted tank

Just got done with a 7 day Melafix treatment in my high tech tank. No affect on the plants. Java Fern, Crypts, radican swords, wisteria, spirallis.

Makes the tank smell really nice too! I think the guys above have already answered ur question tho :)

I would normally say no, but my subwassertang did not like it!

All other plants are fine, just keep it away from the silly liverworts.

Should be fine against plants as its just diluted tea tree oil.

Just never use it with anabatnoids aka bettas and gouramis. The tea tree oil damages their labyrinth organ, which makes it harder for them to breathe air and they will eventually drown.
