Well, i bought a new tank today. I got it for 3 dollars, it came w/ a UGF, gravel, and food and water dechlor. It is a 1 g tank. Here are some pics:

That shows you how small the tank is! Also, i re-did my 30g angel/livebearer tank. I used to have a HUGE piece of Bog wood floating in it, but now its sitting on the bottom, and i am holding it down with slate. This is the one that i wanted to know if it looks okay:

Sorry about the fact they are shaky. I was going to use my tri-pod, but i didnt have time to set it up and take it back down.

the 1 gallon, about all I would keep in there is a betta, and I would use about half the gravel that you have in, to allow more water volume. the filter will work exactly the same with only an inch or so of gravel.

the lighting makes the second tank hard to see. but it does not look horrible or anything to me.

I dont plan on putting much in the 1g. I have 3 guppy fry in there, with some Bacteria in there, to see if the tank will go w/o a cycle. It wasnt the lighting in the tank taht makes the pics hard to see, it was the combination of:
Shaky hands
Flash off
Sun comming through the background
and dark colored bog wood that made the pic hard to see! I do need to get a stronger light!
