does ich away medicine kills the beneficial bacteria that lives on ur filter, gravel, etc. because when i used maracyn 2 it said it could.
and since the carbon i have in my filter is like 2 months or older, im pretty sure its not active anymore, so should i just leave the pads right there with the useless carbon? because since i RARELY or never change my filter pads the carbon, is it dead?
